Does EdgeLab cost extra? During beta, EdgeLab is included with all active TelegramFXCopier subscriptions.

Do I need to install anything? No. EdgeLab is entirely browser-based. No VPS, no MetaTrader plugin, no desktop app.

Does EdgeLab work with my broker? EdgeLab deploys strategies via MetaAPI, which supports MT4 and MT5 accounts at the vast majority of forex brokers. If TelegramFX Copier works with your broker, EdgeLab will too.

What pairs and instruments can I research? EdgeLab has historical data for major and minor forex pairs plus XAUUSD (gold). Coverage continues to expand.

How far back does the historical data go? Up to 36 months of historical data is available for backtesting.

Can I run multiple strategies at once? Yes. The number of simultaneously live strategies depends on your subscription plan. Your current usage is shown in the Account view and in the deploy modal.

What happens to open trades if I stop a live strategy? Stopping a strategy halts new signal generation but does not close any open positions. You must manage open positions manually in your broker platform.

The AI gave me results I don't understand — what should I do? Ask it. Type "explain these results in plain language" or "what does this Sharpe ratio mean in practice?" and EdgeLab will walk you through it.

I ran a backtest and got fewer than 30 trades — why can't I deploy? A sample of fewer than 30 trades is too small to draw statistically reliable conclusions. The strategy rules may be too restrictive, the timeframe too high, or the lookback period too short. Try extending the lookback period or relaxing the entry conditions, then re-run.

My OOS validation failed. What now? A failed OOS validation means the strategy likely found patterns in historical data that are not real edge. The most productive next step is to simplify the strategy — fewer conditions, fewer parameters — and re-test. Simpler strategies tend to be more robust. You can also ask EdgeLab directly: "Why did the OOS fail and how can I make this more robust?"
