For most situations, TelegramFXCopier's existing settings will provide you with all you need to successfully trade. But what if you need something unique, such as a dedicated setting or strategy for individual channels or charts?

Here is an example to clarify how to set different strategies for specific channels using TelegramFXCopier:

Let's assume we have two channels (Channel A and Channel B) that we want to monitor.

For Strategy 1, which will be applied to Channel A:

Open a chart in the trading platform.
In the TelegramFXCopier app, go to the settings for that chart.
Choose the option "Channel(s) to copy: Only Specific One(s)."
In the field labeled "If Specific, put name of Channel(s)," enter the magic number for Channel A. For example, if the magic number for Channel A is 52256, enter "52256" in the field.

For Strategy 2, which will be applied to Channel B:

Open another chart in the trading platform.
In the TelegramFXCopier app, go to the settings for this new chart.
Choose the option "Channel(s) to copy: Only Specific One(s)."
In the field labeled "If Specific, put name of Channel(s)," enter the magic number for Channel B. For example, if the magic number for Channel B is 6933, enter "6933" in the field.

Order Entry Settings

When a signal provider sends a market order (BUY/SELL), the user has two options to consider:

Market: This option allows the user to enter the trade instantly at the current market price. There is no need to wait for a specific entry price from the provider.

Provider: If the provider specifies an entry price, and it falls within the specified points range, the trade will be taken as a pending order. In this case, the user will wait for the price to reach the specified level before entering the trade. If the provider sends the entry in a range, the EA will enter at the lowest price in that range.

Additionally, there is an option to ignore orders with no entry price. If the user sets this option to "True" and selects the provider entry option, any signals without an entry price will be disregarded. These signals will not be executed as either market orders or pending orders.

Why Didn't My Trade Trigger?

There can be a lot of reasons why a trade doesn't open. Let's start with the simple things.

Autotrading/Algotrading is turned off. Make sure it's turned on.

Markets are closed.
You are trying to take a provider order as a market order. If the market price is on the wrong side of either the SL or the TP, some brokers will reject the order completely. See this article for more info.
Broker requotes/no prices. This happens on market orders during thin or fast moving markets. It usually results in a code 10004, 10014, 10018, or 10021.
The signal contains symbols that do not match the EA's internal symbol map (symbol not found). Remember, forex pairs are mapped internally by the EA unless the format is unusual (like #EURJPY or EUR/JPY for example). Gold, indexes and crypto must be mapped manually, in the EA settings. See here.

Once the subscription process is complete, users will gain access to their personal account in the TelegramFXCopier account panel. Here are the steps to follow:

In the "Downloads" tab, select the file to download. TelegramFXCopier requires a 64 bit system compatible with Microsoft Visual .NET 4.8.1. You can see Microsoft's list of compatible systems here.
Before launching the setup file, ensure that you have uninstalled any previous versions of TelegramFXCopier from your device.
Double-click on the setup file to initiate the installation process. Allow it to install all the necessary components. You also have the option to add a desktop shortcut. Once the installation is complete, it is recommended to restart your PC or VPS (Virtual Private Server) for optimal performance.

Understanding the Money Management Settings

There are four types of Money Management available:

Fixed Lot: Set a specific fixed lot size for each trade.
Percentage Lot: Define the lot size based on a percentage of your account equity.
Lot per 1000: Set the lot size per 1000 units of the base currency.
Percentage of Equity: Determine the lot size based on a percentage of your account equity.

For each Money Management option, you need to enter the corresponding value in the provided input field.

Additionally, if a signal includes multiple take profit levels (TPs), the EA will open multiple orders. Each order will have a distinct TP value, while the stop loss (SL) remains the same. The EA supports up to 5 TPs. The volume of each TP is calculated using the following rule: TotalLot (calculated in the first part) * TPipercentage %.

For example, if you have set the Money Management Type to Percentage Lot and specified a risk of 2%, and you receive an order on EURUSD with a SL, the calculation may result in a volume of 0.12. If the order has 3 TPs with different percentage values, such as TP1percentage = 50%, TP2percentage = 0%, and TP3_percentage = 50%, the EA will open 2 orders with volumes of 0.06 each (one with TP1 and the other with TP3). If there are no TP4 and TP5 specified, no additional orders will be opened.
