Before launching the setup file, ensure that you have uninstalled any previous versions of TelegramFXCopier from your device.
Double-click on the setup file to initiate the installation process. Allow it to install all the necessary components. You also have the option to add a desktop shortcut. Once the installation is complete, it is recommended to restart your PC or VPS (Virtual Private Server) for optimal performance.

Understanding how Symbol Settings work

In some cases, brokers may use symbol prefixes and/or suffixes for forex symbols. For example, a symbol like EURUSD.mini or .XXXYYY. To ensure that the EA can execute trades correctly, you need to specify the symbol settings for these cases.

For instance, if the symbol is EURUSDX, you would go to the EA settings and navigate to the "Symbol Settings" section. In the symbol suffix area, you should add "X" to accommodate the broker's naming convention.

Additionally, different brokers may use varying names for metals, energies, indexes and other assets. For example, Gold might be referred to as either GOLD or XAUUSD. Or US30 might be called US30.cash. To address this, you need to enter the corresponding symbol for each asset in the EA settings.

By accurately configuring the symbol settings, you can ensure that TelegramFXCopier functions properly with your broker's specific naming conventions for symbols and assets.

How can the user know that the copier is running and signals are copied?

On the Metatrader chart, you will see a list of monitored channels displayed. If you don't see any channel names, there are two possible scenarios:

"NOT CONNECTED" - This means that the TelegramFxCopier app is not currently connected to Telegram. Please ensure that the app is properly connected to Telegram.
"CONNECTED BUT NO MONITORED CHANNEL(S)" - In this case, please double-check that you have entered your Metatrader account number correctly in the app and clicked on the save button to save your settings.

By considering these possibilities and verifying the necessary settings, you can ensure the proper function of the copier.

Understanding the Money Management Settings

There are four types of Money Management available:

Fixed Lot: Set a specific fixed lot size for each trade.
Percentage Lot: Define the lot size based on a percentage of your account equity.
Lot per 1000: Set the lot size per 1000 units of the base currency.
Percentage of Equity: Determine the lot size based on a percentage of your account equity.

For each Money Management option, you need to enter the corresponding value in the provided input field.

Additionally, if a signal includes multiple take profit levels (TPs), the EA will open multiple orders. Each order will have a distinct TP value, while the stop loss (SL) remains the same. The EA supports up to 5 TPs. The volume of each TP is calculated using the following rule: TotalLot (calculated in the first part) * TPipercentage %.

For example, if you have set the Money Management Type to Percentage Lot and specified a risk of 2%, and you receive an order on EURUSD with a SL, the calculation may result in a volume of 0.12. If the order has 3 TPs with different percentage values, such as TP1percentage = 50%, TP2percentage = 0%, and TP3_percentage = 50%, the EA will open 2 orders with volumes of 0.06 each (one with TP1 and the other with TP3). If there are no TP4 and TP5 specified, no additional orders will be opened.
